cro-mags, minor threat, and FEAR are all win. crass if you want to hear some new stuff which is influenced heavily by some of these bands check out have heart and verse. a little bit of new stuff but you can definitely hear their roots.

that being said if it has screaming or bad singing in it then the song is just absolutely ruined

anyone listen to modern life is war or blacklisted? the latter might be exclusive to the philly/east coast crowd but theyre one of my favorites

I could name a ton of bands, but the hardcore bands that other people have probably heard are;
Bane, Carry on, CDC (lol), Ceremony, Champion, Comeback Kid, Cruel Hand, Death Before Dishonor, The Geeks, Guns Up!, Have Heart, In Blood we Trust, The Mongoloids, Outbreak, Swear to God, Terror, Trapped Under Ice, Trash Talk, Verse, xLooking Forwardx.
In case any of you guys get to see ANY of these bands live, do it. They all r00l hard.

I'm not even going to get into 80's.
