hardcore bands

Yeah my favorite band is:
"Teabagging my best friend while a dog gives him oral"
They're hardcore thrash death rape gun metal

Ok clearly not, but I do find some metal band names funny.

sorry I don't mean to trash any music.

But really if you call your band something like cradle of filth, translation cot of ####, really?

I think most of this new #### could hardly be called metal core let alone deathmetal

cradle of filth is garbacge. metal is garbage. this is a hardcore thread. you can include metalcore into that, buit the genres are very different

fair enough, names are still pretty appalling though which was my point.

Shipwreck - often used to describe a situation that has gone horribly wrong, doesn't sound hardcore, sounds like they made a mistake forming a band

haha yeah i know what you mean. but sometimes thats the intention! haha my children my bride is a christian band and thats what we are looked at through God's view. but bands like iwrestledabearonce, the tony danza tapdance extravaganza, and arsonsists get all the girls are hilarious....and i think thats the point! good observartion though dude

verse, converge, have heart, force of change, recon, american me, bane, casey jones, hoods, sovereign strength, thick as blood, unite and conquer. those are all ####### brutal names for bands. if you look at the music scene as a whole today, the names are pretty ####### stupid as well. even years old bands. the beatles? stupidest ####### name ive ever heard. amazing band. hootie and the blowfish? speaks for itself. wiz khalifa lil wayne soulja boi. all those names are ####### stupid. just because a band has a dumb name doesnt mean its bad (but in a lot of cases the xscenexcorex bands with names like iwrestledabearonce and arsonists get all the girls they are pretty bad).

p.s. i personally think Shipwreck is a badass name. if you want to name off all the bands with words like that and define them all i am absolutely positive that you will find stranger ones in the world of modern music, not hardcore.

Nah I agree, band names are normally bollocks, hell i've had some pretty bollocks band names. However I just fancied and excuse to write something totally obscure and vaguely repulsive and get away with it, I saw a hardcore bands thread and I jumped on the opportunity.

my sister just went to This is Hardcore fest in phillie. im so jelous but she got a #### load of shirts for me. Have Heart played, the suicide file, guns up!, shipwreck, ceremony, trapped under ice, tons of bands 3 days of great ****in music. hopfully il go next year.

anybody else go?

Sorry to double post, but 4 of my friends went, I had to work. They said it was the best thing of their life. We went to 10 for 10 in Atlanta (Poison the Well, Madball, Terror, War of Ages, This is Hell, Death Before Dishonor, Trapped Under Ice, Bane, and The Ghost Inside) and they said it blew that out of the water. I'm SO mad that I had to miss it.

sorry, I like my heavy music and all, but being crazy and fast for the sake of being crazy and fast doesn't do it for me. yikes..emo kids playing metal. 80s gym shorts, headbands, and beards are now cool. and what's with the "i ate bjork" middle section?

I'd say do anything you can to see Terror. Their set has been the best set I've seen, and probably will be. They played a lot from One With the Underdogs, so if you like that album I'd try your hardest to see them.

yeah i like that album, im going to see have heart in early september at my local venue so i can't wait for that. its gunna be even better because all the god local bands are palying there to that night. i just saw signs of hope and it was nuts

iwabo is ####. lyrics play as much of a part in me liking something as well as brutality. maybe even sometimes more. iwabo sings about stupid ####, therefore they are stupid ####.
