SRP is $150. No noise cancellation, but they do seem to block a fair amount of ambient noise.

those were the preferred headphones that a lot of dj's i knew swore by. i think i was the "ball-joint" swivel action of the ear pieces that could let you monitor the mix. did you look at any bose, or senheisers? much like seismics, they are often imitated, but unequaled.

    edit: happy birthday
it costs $16 (the price of a cd) to fund an african child\'s school tuition for an entire year.

Sadly, Best Buy is close, but has a slim selection of 'phones. These fit my head beautifully, and sound good, too.

I have the same ones. Bass response is amazing for a headphone. Very accurate and mellow or smooth sounding. I use mine everday.

I tried some Bose headphones at Best Buy around Christmas. I was very disapointed. Sounded all tin-y and hollow like having tin cans on my ears. The Sony sound 100 times better. Maybe the Bose were bottom end but since they scimp on the cones and such I would have expected more even then. I've heard people rave about Bose headphones so maybe I've got to go to a Bose place or high end audio place to hear the difference.
