I only got to see the Descendents once. Great show. I was right up front about three rows back. On the first chord on the first song of there set I got full on kicked in the face. Stage diver I think. Knocked my glasses off. They landed right in my hands.......minus one lens. Saw it floating around on the floor and grabbed it up before it got stomped. I was getting smashed up front so I tried to head to the back. It was like entering the different levels of hell. I can't believe I made it out alive. GREAT SHOW!

i saw them play at a club called the renden inn,in new orleans,with the suicide machines,many years and brain cells ago...stellar band

I remember them coming to Dallas with suicide machines. I think that was in 97

I think that was the tour I saw. The Everything Sucks tour. They had the Suicide Machines with them on that tour. That was a hell of a show. I saw them in Nashville at 328.

i remember rocking out to them when i was like, 10. and a few months ago i was scrolling through my ipod and saw them. i listened. and i liked.

The first time I saw them play was 1985 in Salt Lake City at the state fair grounds
with D.R.I. and a local band called Maimed for life.

And yelled, "Hell yes! Dead Kennedys!" expecting to initiate a conversation about a great band.

Nope. The guy looked clue-less, and turned and walked away quickly. I was disappointed.

Anywho, are they still playing shows?

I never really cared for All. It just wasn't the same as Descendents. Although I liked to go see All play live because they would do a whole set of Descendent songs.

Sadly the only times I have ever had a chance to see the Dead Kennedys has been after they reformed without Jello. DK is not DK without Jello.

The thing I love about all was the changed it up and made the best of the situation with Milo having to go to collage... Amazing talent in that band. Probably the most underated punk band ever
