ok so ive just started the neck for my lap cigar box slide guitar and had a great idea. since im not going to be needing the frets beyond using them for orientation ive decided to just inlay really beutiful stones like tiger's eye rather then put in fret wire.

anyway im not up on my beautiful and cool looking stone data so anybody got any suggestions?

Rock some blue and green Agate, I love that stuff. And ofcourse some amathyst, thats a punk rock stone. And maybe some ignious ore or something?

yea but it shatters very easily and would be impossible to cut, plus its hella expensive

opal is the birthstone for october but its so expenceive everyone just uses that pink color.
