I'd post a song, but youtube is sh*ttiing out on me. Fenris is the best song on that. Noice, keep it dark and brutal. (Emperor is good too)

Aaaaaahh, I`m so looking forward to this album I dont care about his political views, the music is great(and not political).If one should care about musicians poltical stance, I dont think there would be many artists you could listen to. That said, I wouldnt vote for this guy
And the album is to be called "Belus", not "the white god".
I hope prison have made him angry(angrier) as hell, and that the music will show it

in my prime metal time i really gave black metal a shot because i thought it was so hardcore to listen to it. the monotony and often bad production quality always put me off though. my ears reached out to grasp the more melodic parts of some songs but why not listen to "normal" metal then, where melody is plentiful. listening to the stuff posted in this thread makes me wonder again, why people listen to it.

closest thing to black metal that i can really enjoy is eisregen, a german band. sounds pretty rough sometimes and the lyrics are horrifying but there is beauty to it.



this is probably my favourite song by eisregen. give it a listen, dont turn it off after the first minute!

i used to like Dimmu Borgir back in highschool, but then grew out of it.

Guys who need to wear white and black face paint to be hardcore/cool just doesn't cut it for me.


I dunno...all the facepaint just leads my mind straight to ICP, and i hate ICP.
