    I want to know what funky type of music you guys listen to. I always feel that funk and groove and soul is the right skating stuff because of the soul factor. As for me some of my favorites are:

    Curtis Mayfield
    Tower of Power
    Stevie Wonder
    Booker T and the MG's
    Jamaroquai
    The Poet's of Rhthym
    Medeski Martin and Wood

    One of my favorite bands is 311. They're funky and soulful in a "rock" sort of way. Perfect combo for me.
