Aw, I'm jealous. Gigantour sounds amazing this year with In Flames and Children of Bodom!

Definitely a fan of The Four Horsemen. Both songs have kinda goofy lyrics, but I think Horsemen's fit the music better.

Plus I like James' vox much more than Dave's...

I'll always take Megadeth over Metallica. Although metallica seems that they might actually release a half way decent album come fall, check out missionmetallica.com. Also Metallica used a great deal of stuff that Mustaine wrote for their first few albums. In the time that Metallica put out a terrible album Megadeth managed to put out two albums that are quite good. Perhaps not as good as vintage Megadeth, but better than St Anger.

Vulgar: Most of the kids on this site were sh!tting their britches while these two bands were in their prime. These two bands should both be explored by adolesents as much as Zeppelin and other classic rock bands.

As a teenager, I always waited for Metallica to record another Kill 'em All. I eventually gave up. Not that the subsequent albums sucked, but they lost a lot when they got rid of Mustaine. Just about every one of my favorite Metallica songs was written by him. I will have to check out this "mechanix" you speak of...
Edit: just goes to show that Dave and Cliff were the true Motorhead and Misfits fans....

Its basically a sped up version of four horseman with funnier lyrics. Check out "Killing is my Business...business is good" if you like old thrash. The solos leave something to be desired, but they are shredtastic. Also if you like more hardcore punk orientated thrash check out Dave's side project MD .45.

Any if you want to listen to the best thrash album of all times(in my mind) listen to Rust in Peace.
