Having a new computer and having to rebuild playlists has gotten me into listening to more of my library. i used to listen to a lot of Carl Cox, DJ Micro and a bunch of Japanese Trance which I can't read. I still really like that style I'm just looking for something new

I'm not the greatest when it comes to electronica genres, but if you're looking for some trance-fusion sort of stuff, check out Sound Tribe Sector 9, The New Deal, and even some of Umphrey's McGee. They're all bands, but they have some really really cool trance music.

OH you must live in Michigan than. I have a friend that just got back from that. Man I wish I could have been there. He said Theivery was off the hook.
I got listening to tiesto back when he was playing little clubs in Holland and at part pop stuff.
If you are wanting to get some good trance/dance sounds just about any of his Magik series is good

I enjoy trance, but every time I hear Tiesto this is all I can think about.
Well here is a freely translated interview! (from me: Kooky's sidekick)
TIESTO: The track you hear I have made myself just behind the computer and later you play it on stage.
I started making music in '96 before that I was only DJ and I thought I wanted to make the music I was playing myself.
So I started to learn more about it and slowly I bought all the stuff for my studio.
Interviewer: Can you read music ?
TIESTO: No, I was taught in the past when I played the recorder, but no I cannot really read music. But I think it is not really necessary with this sort of music.
Everything I do is through my instinct, all music I make is made from my feeling.
That's why I don't think it makes any difference if you make music using a computer or a guitar or a piano. It's only about the feeling in the music you want to share."
So as you see some wanker has stuff the first interview and it was posted by a hater most likely an asshole.
Tiesto is a cool guy I know Ive met him.
