Don Caballero (very good drummer, but too complex for some people)

Pelican (Metal/ Rock)

Antibalas (Groove, Funk, very chill, trumpets and brass + occasional singing, MOSTLY instrumental).

You don't want to get into music with me. You will lose.

"Lyricless" isn't a genre. Music without lyrics is "Instrumental", meaning instruments only. If you are referring to something more along the lines of beats that could have lyrics over them, but don't, that is still instrumental, regardless of what style it's in. Hip hop beats with no lyrics, lounge beats with no lyrics, jazz, funk, doesn't matter. Even if you mean a song that once had lyrics, but now doesn't, it is still instrumental.

Bottom line: If there are no lyrics, it is not "lyricless", it is "instrumental". End of discussion.

As for suggestions...

Mr.Scruff
Mr.Oizo
Amon Tobin
Adam Freeland
The Liquid Tension Experiment (since you didn't specify instrumental within any particular genre)
John Scofield
Gene Krupa Trio

To name a few...
