ok i've seen some other threads but this is the official modest mouse thread, so who else is a fan?

They are def. cool.
The first time I heard them many moons ago I thought they sucked.
Then, I saw them play live at the Croc in Seattle, bought the CD they had out at the time, and they grew on me. Must admit, I haven't heard any of their newer stuff.

i like florida, blame it on the tetons, ocean breaths salty, black Cadillacs, missed the boat, one chance, parting of the sensory pretty sweet band a refreshing change from the crap on the radio these days.

I dig 'em.

They seem to put a lot of thought and care into instrumentation, the way the instruments intermingle and play off each other rather than just playing straightforward similar parts.
