I agreed, I managed to see them live at Sasquatch Music Festival last year; a great show and some very very skilled musicians.

Wow.. at the beginning I wasn't hooked at all and was wondering if it would change any, then it did and now I'm hooked. Really liked it and will be listening to them again.

They have great harmonies - similar to Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys as well as a CSNY influence. It's a very "American" sounding album. I've been listening to this album, for the last few months, almost daily. Sh!t - have I mellowed. But it truly is a great album.

And the cover art sucked me in for the longest time too. It's a 1559 painting - Netherlandish Proverbs - by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. I was staring at it forever, looking at all the detail and the weird things going on. So I decided to Wiki it and found a lot of cool info... About two weeks ago i got an email from a friend which just said "You must listen to Fleet Foxes, now!"

Best email I have ever received. Though I still can't decide if I like the self-titled or Sun Giant/Ragged Wood sound better.

I don't know if you can download them anywhere, but he has a myspace for White Antelope and a few songs up which are really good.
