Ozric Tentacles

Just wondering if there were any Ozric Tentacles fans on the fish. If so, if you have any stories or anything I'd love to hear em.

I saw them a few times (probably about 15 years ago). They were always fun gigs (if you like that kind of thing), played great sets and seemed to really enjoy themselves - as did the audience.

A few times, they were "supported" by themselves, in the form of band members who went on to form Eat Static.

A friend of a friend lived in the same area (south-west UK) and had a big role in designing and running the Ozric's legendary "Fruit Salad Light Show" - the crazy visuals that were a major part of each show.

(I haven't listened to them for a while. Now you've done it - I'm going to have to dig out some of my Ozrics, before I go off to price some Baltic Birch)

+1 here. Coming from the south of england i've seen them a few times at some of the festivals and free festivals we used to have in the south/south west years ago. Good times!

I really want to see them but I doubt that will happen because in live on the West Coast of Canada, and they havent announced any tour dates even close. But I was wondering what everyones favourite song or album is by The Ozrics?

I like 'em. Saw them at wakarusa last year and they did a great first set. Orzic played after The Flaming Lips (who headlined that night) and I hate to say it but the second half of the set was spent in the back of the tent with me and my ex-girlfriend rubbing ice all over each other.

#### it was hot in ######' Kansas. Second set sounded good from where I was though!

Armchair Journey is a good one, I believe it is called.
