Providence
Just made this map of some nice spots in Providence.
Google Map
I'm down to ride most nights and occasionally during the day.

Re: Providence
Wells and I hit up the college hill area every now and then when we want to be hero's. Come skate?

Re: Providence
Sunday could work. Looking like good weather.
If that works for any of you all, any preference for time/place?
Maybe meet up at the ice rink downtown (Kennedy Plaza)?
I can do anytime after 4 or so.
That spiral is on the map.. Glad to share spots, but still feeling out how to keep things vague enough for the internet.

I'd go hit Gravity Games or at least Angell tonight but it looks like I'll be in the garage 'till late.
Late night is ideal for the East Side. There's less traffic and headlights give you a better view of oncoming cars. Wear a bright t-shirt.
I'm good for Sunday, I think.

Re: Providence
East side sounds good to me.. been curious if there's any good pavement hidden over there. and late night works fine..
Maybe start with some safer stuff around 10 and see how late people want to go?

Re: Providence
Sounds good. Let's meet up Brooklyn style in Prospect Park around 9:30. That will put us right in the middle of a bunch of good hills for various levels of skill and audacity. My number is 401 252 9374 if you wanna get in touch.

It's on..
I'll go ahead and PM some 60 Rhode Island New Englanders on here to make it official.
So far it looks like Wells and myself attending. (I'll probably bring some folks though..)
Fun times.

Re: Providence
i think i can make it actually, but i might need to crash with someone if thats possible. If we skate till late i've got a decent drive home after and i dont trust myself staying awake for that drive (i'm having a long day before then so i'll already be tired haha)

Whole range of speeds and types. pretty flexible. Pavement is generally a little rough, with cracks, if that affects your wheel choice.. Generally need spotters on the faster (30-40mph) hills (right on red danger even with timing lights).
see you all tonight!
