    Default Vermont Sessions

Just seeing if there would be any interest in some East coast guys coming up to ride some of the rad terrain we have up here. 2 huge mountain passes, plus much undiscovered terrain.

I'd be down. Hit me up some time cause I got a feeling you know some good spots around that I'm not aware of yet. I'm setting up a dseed with some drifters soon if you wanna head for the hills for some freeriding. We should skate soon man

What are these two passes you speak of? I will be in Vermont during the school year. Let me know of any spots around Poultney VT please. Or anyone to ride with around there.

Bump-just because it's January doesn't mean us Vermonsters can't skate! Pull up those thermals, strap on your knee warmers, and keep the salt out of those bearings! Where is everyone skating this time of year? I've been skating Overlook, and Mallets Bay a lot, but I would love to get a crew to skate some bigger hills. Meadow Ridge, or Irish Hill anyone?

We got clear roads, but the question is how long do they stay clear? A system seems to be moving by, we might get some snow to stick before the weekend, but it might just blow off. I'd say if you want to make the trip, we will find some skating, but chances are it will be hit or miss.

@Gravityrider - You should definitely hit me up, there are some great runs close to St.M.

Also, I heard from Marc, at Orangefiist, and he would be more than happy to show Drop: My Life Downhill in Burlington! I've been contacting venues, and suggesting that they show Drop, and I hope other skaters will do the same. I think the Roxy would be the most likely venue, but Flynn would be the most ideal.

The Pocono's race sounds fun, but this thread is for Vermont events. That said, I believe Drop comes out in March, so we should have a good thaw by then. I'm thinking about having an event/race/demo in conjunction with the film.

I'd would be totally stoked if you got a skate event/viewing in Burlington for this, I'd ride up there from mass to skate and see this for sure.

UVM (University of Vermont) just announced that they are interested in having a campus wide longboard/skateboard DEMO on Thursday, April, 29th, 2010. This includes, but not limited to: slalom, freeride, downhill, street/park, and Haiti Benefit Raffle. UVM is a playground for longboards, with tons of terrain, and unique features, giving you endless options for a day of riding.

I am NOT a student at UVM, but I am a frequent skater there, and would like to extend this invitation to the SF community. If UVM wants a DEMO, then they need some advanced skaters to show them how it's done. I know SF is full of talk, so now it is time to show up, and skate!

There will be food, entertainment, free board demos, raffle, ramps, rails, and much more!

Thinking about a college? Looking to meet some other skaters? Want to skate somewhere new? Or just want an excuse for a road trip? Come up, over, or down here to Vermont for some excellent skating!

Need a place to crash? Couch space is limited, so get a hold of ASAP to make reservations.

    More details soon.

Ah bummer, I just got the information, and put it directly on the fish. Hit me up when you're in VT and we'll try to meet up this time and skate some.
