UConn Longboarding Club!

If anyone on the fish goes to UConn... then I probably know you, and if I don't then I should.

We meet outside the Student Union, on the big brick circle where Fairfield Way meets Hillside Rd. Don't go to UConn? Who cares! Come skate with us if you're in the area.

We're currently in the process of making things official... within the next few weeks we should be listed as a legitimate UConn organization.

The next step? EVENTS. We have a road I find to be perfect for a small Slalom race, and numerous spots that would work for slide competitions. The key here is getting the school to let us do these things... which will take time, but I think it's feasible.

I don't go to UConn, but I'll be there this weekend visiting my girlfriend (you wouldn't happen to know Emily Tritsch? Junior theater major?), and we both board. Dunno if the weather'll be good/if we'll have time, but I'm bringing a board home just in case.
