Cool List your fav. spots for in or around Boston

Mine would be Breakheart Reservation in Saugus and then theres a couple of nice, long smooth roads with little traffic in my neighborhood and some sweet beginner - intermediate hills.

You can try the boston commons and the area at night,
but you might want to leave by twelve and
keep something on you for protection(just in case).

I really only have a knowledge of the Back Bay area - did a 5 week summer program at Berklee. A couple of my fave spots:
-Boston Commons like jwtk said. Specifically there's one run that goes through there, probably a quarter mile long, pristine pavement and wide as balls, great for power slides and some hard carves
-Emerald Necklace, I think its called. Its on Commonwealth Ave, essentially a 20 foot wide or so stretch of solid pavement that goes all the way up until the Commons. Flat, practically no people, damn good for dancing with the exception of periodic cracks.
-Back Bay side of Charles River. Once you go over to the Cambridge side, the pavement becomes putrid, but the Back Bay side is real smooth. Great for dancing; Emerald Necklace is better due to lack of wind off the water (can be a real pain) and less bikers, roller bladers, etc
