I'm from central MA, i woke up this morning to go to school, and IT WAS SNOWING. im a snowboarder at heart, but i love rippin around boston in the off season. i hope people are as stoked as i am for winter. make it a good one everyone

but then it got warm again and I've been skating all week.

man I love living here, we have the best mountains for sliding.

thats what im hearin, my friend is goin to college out there ridin breck. not too many mtns around here, gotta go up north for them, but im hopin to get out to tahoe for new years

Northeast longboarding has no seasons. We skate until there is too much snow on the ground. Then we wait for the plows and skate again. I snowboard as well, but id rather the snow stay in the mtns and keep my roads dry. As a plus, falling on cold asphalt leaves less road rash .

Snow sucks. The cold sucks. Right now it's 40 degrees and rainy where I am in CT - screw that. I'm moving to Los Angeles at the end of the month where right now it is 80 degrees and sunny. F yeah skateboarding.

just picked up a new K2 parkstar and ride deltas. local mtn opens in a month, CANT WAIT. goin up north to killington in like 2 weeks to get some pre season in, should be ill. and thankyou for at least one person bein stoked about winter.

haha i'm a snowboarder too and i am stoked.

i've got a k2 spitfire wide, i've had it for so long and i don't have the $ to get a new board. but yeah, i love cruising around. i can do all the stuff in your photos but i just don't enjoy it on new england ice. looks like youre havin a good time though. word.

oh, you gotta rep eastern ice. in the east coast, we can go shred rails, jumps, and steep ice covered trails in the same day with no edges on our board. bring a westy out east and have them try to do that, doubt it. that just shows you, massholes beat all those west coast kids.

despite the snow, im stil going to be shredding as much as possible when the roads are clear. Already went on 2 dh shreds since the storm this past weekend...

I'm a skier...sorry. I'm so pumped to go up to cannon tomorrow night to hit the mini park and then ski powder all day sunday. I have a season pass to wawa. It's a shitty mountain in terms of terrain, conditions and lines but it's better than nothing and the park is usually fun. I checked out their daily video today and it looks like they have a pretty sweet double take off kicker. I hope their jumps have more pop than last year and I hope they maintain their jibs better. rant. Anyways, hopefully this winter we'll be able to get great snow but still get some good days for skating.
