Here's the googlemaps version of the road.

from: Skinner Park Rd @42.299882, -72.587672 to: 42.302103,-72.582893 - Google Maps

You can see how it goes into a sharp right handed hairpin, then into a left hairpin but just after where the picture frame ends theres another right.
It then continues thru a sweeping left into a strait shoot.

Whenever whoever is ready lemme know.

I suggest you bring as much safety gear as you can

WARNING: If you decide to venture to this place alone DON"T walk up the road from the bottom. You will walk by signs that say "NO SKATEBOARDING" and then shortly after that the ranger station which has worker's in it all year round.
The Top section you see in the picture IS closed completely to car's until spring but to ensure we arn't kicked out or blow the spot up we have a place to park and hike up the back of the mountain unnoticed.
It's about a mile walk through the wood but totally worth it.
Last time I skated it I was still healing up a broken collar bone so now I'm ready to go full bore.

    Lemme know when.

I live about 20 minutes away in ludlow and i'm more of freshfish, i'll be getting a dh board soon though, let me know when you guys are in the area. Also, look up Mt. Tom. You'll find more stuff that way im guessing. I haven't been up there since last year, but i thought there were a few splits and pots in the road.

No offense to anyone though. I don't think we should have more than 5 on this hill at a time. It could get a little risky.

That run looks amazing. The surrounding environment makes it look even better.

Yeah Mt. Tom has a road thats closed to traffic 365 days a year. It's basically a strait shot with a slight right at the bottom. About 40-45 MPH tops.

LB1 I agree with you on bringing a lot of people up to Mt. Holyoke as well but only because I wouldn't want anyone to crash off a cliff of get real Fcuked up.
So long as we hike up the back I'm positive we won't have any trouble.
But if someone came and crashed badly the spot would be completely blown.

And it is an amazing run.
One, if not the most technical in Southern New England.

mt tom is an abandoned ski resort outside of amherst, not too far, less than 30 minutes I think. It's not the best place for DH, the road is pretty boring compared to the other hills out there. But it would be a nice place to hold a slalom event.

Also mike, could you send me any pictures you have from that day, or give me a link to them.
