Joe Iocovelli's annual slalom race hosted here in CT. Skaters travel from all over the US and Canada to race. It is the oldest continual skateboard race on the planet (8th year). Last year it was held in Bristol, years before in Bethel, CT. Joe is still working on this years location.

You and the ENTIRE NW LBC crew BETTER be there!!!

Not doing up a flyer - per Joe - theres just not a lot of room for spectators - and I am pretty sure he likes to keep this on the DL.

This years race is in Bethel, CT (outside of Danbury)

If your interested in atending this - info is on the contest calendar at the "other " site (ncdsa)

AWESOME day of racing action - wish I saw more locals supporting this event - but with the economy and gas prices etc. - I completely understand...

Once again I was blown away by the intensity of the racers and the incredibly cool vibe of the people there on the hill - Cannot wait to see pics!!!
