There are varying degrees of "shitty." That one looks like it qualifies for "slightly janky and dubiously constructed;" but we should save "shitty" for truly awful parks like this one.

HA!
Ya its better than that park.
But if anyone is planning on skating it either:
A. Bring a broom
or
B. Give the sun some time to dry up the rain.
The pool was built by idiots and the drainage is higher than the lowest points in the pool so water builds up to near a foot deep

Dude, did you see the xGNARxCOREx graffiti text they used for the sign? No way you can call that "shitty!"
nice try max but there is still smooth asphalt you can skate in Bristol...unlike Newport which is so sh1tty they put it on the border of the next city...not to mention the fact that it's covered in sand

haha, i was down there several weeks ago surfing and had my drifter in my trunk, so i figured i'd check it out, it probably wouldn't be such a bad park if it had smooth concrete instead of asphault and DIDN'T have at least 800 pounds of sand spread everywhere between the trannys.

what sad is the skate spots Newport had and destroyed, most under the justification of building that POS park more than a mile from anyone who skateboards...Perotti park across from the Panera was curb and ledge heaven, Seaside Banks, King Center Banks, Long Wharf banks, Salve bowl, Creamery curbs. Not to mention Skater Island which llived entirely too short a life. One of the cool city councelmen tried to get the city to build a Breaking Grounds Skatepark next to the King Center (nearly downtown but still in a neighborhood) but the City's only response was "the park we have doesn't get used by Newporters and only gets used 3-4 months a year" nearly every skater in attendence (myself included) said the same thing "put a crappy prefab park more than a mile from any neighborhood (I'm not including Middletown which is where the park almost is) and you are correct no one is going to go there" Hell even Jamestown has a better park and Newporters will pay the toll to skate it rather than waste time at easton's beach.
I'm glad I have White Rock,Groton and even Norwich
