I live in Lewiston, Maine and I am new to longboarding. I just recently picked up a Dervish and I am loving it. The problem is that besides a few college students (who have all gone for the summer), I have not seen one other person on a longboard anywhere around town. I see lots of short boarder kids who hang out at the skate park, but that's about it. Are there any others of you out there besides me?
