june 21'st go skateboarding day

whats going down for this holiday? i already called out of work and im in need of a good session because i have been having a shitty week. i know there is a session some where on the east coast so tell me whats up...im looking to break 50.

It's like... just ride every day. You don't have to take one specific day to have an excuse to go skate.

Oh BOY!!! I can not wait for June 21st. I've been waiting all year to go out and skate. Finally! This'll be the best day EVER!!!! (Yuck yuck yuck)

Actually - I don't know of any planned events in Buffalo NY. But it'd be nice if there was some sanctioned happenin'. Kinda like Critical Mass (the cyclists) when they hit the streets every last Friday of the month to show the town that they have a right to the road too. Maybe if we all skip work and descend on our favorite skateshop on that day - then it'll be some kind of happening.

well there were Ideas of going out to Block Island but all the enthusiasm for that seems to have died off

actually...i have to go 31 miles from my house just to go over 35mph on a skateboard and i would do that every day but i have a car that wont make it 60 miles in one day because i bought it my self and next wendesday i am getting a new car but i also work every day except saturday so that is the reason i am stoked for this day,

I think Wheelabrator is only good on Sundays - the garbage trucks haul during the day on Saturday. That makes the road have a lot of traffic.

I'll be in Florida skating somewhere - not sure yet...

Either way - go out and skate. I know Channel 1 Skate shop in New Haven wanted Wayne from Surf-Rodz to plan something - not sure of anything though - hit their site for info - probably a New Haven city cruise...

Block Island is still goin down as far as I know. The meet/time details are still a little sketchy.
