So I know all of 3 people who actually own and use their boards, and theyre never down for sessions, so whos from around here, and what hills do you usually bomb?
im from bethany, so i just screw around on the side roads because my town is basically one giant hill
Indeed the garage in Waterbury shreds. Scovill St. Parking Garage - directions are on the Palace Theater Website. If you go - make sure there are no attendents and then go to the top to park. I have seen Waterbury police just hanging out up top.
Not into screaming down mondo hills here for this old geezer. Seymour has a couple of good runs - we had a slide fest there last year. Beacon Falls and Oxford have some decent runs too - but Bethany probaly beats them all for hill size.
Look for New Haven sessions with Wayne from Sur-Rodz. Street cruising and garage shoping - lots of fun though. His boards are way sick - super huge cruisers.
I want to try the bike path in Cheshire - yes mellow crusing - but it would be good exercise. We have done the Farminting Trail too - Spudman found an abanded 4 story garage. Gotta check that out sometime.
We should definately meet up sometime and hit up the garage. I am off to Flordia for a week next week - but will look here for some possible runs afterwards.
You want fast downhill??? Hook up with RBriggs - he will not disappoint...
And getcher arse to Wheelabrator some Sunday soon.

broke my wrist. sucked.
but yeah hit me up when youre back
im not gonna risk getting into uber dh until i get a new setup
wow that does suck - that is not the section in Cheshire is it? My daughter broke her wrist when we did the Farmington trail - she was on her bike though. Either way that biotch claimed two broken wrists that I know of!
Talk to youwhen I am back...

Howdy - back from Florida - looking to set up some sessions at the Waterbury garage, and maybe the Farmington Trail.
Anyone around the weekend of the 4th? We could do a day session at the Garage maybe.
I gotta get Dave from Fifth Deminsion on a longboard. He is a snowboarder and has yet to try longboarding. I told him I would be trying to plan something, and will ask him to join us once we get it figured out.
Shout back some dates/times that are good for you.

Ok, well I live next to Chesire in Camden, but I have don't the whole canal way multiple times. There's the smallest uphill grade when going towrds chesire making pumping a little bit harder. It's easier to start in Chesire and work your way down to Hamden/New Haven. What are these cracks you speak of, because I haven't run into anything that bad on the Canal way.
I can give you guys some pointers.
Leeks you already know of the nice stash of hills by the Hamden/North Haven border, near Arlen Davie. you guys should go there. If you need actual directions to some good runs there just ask, I can head you towards some speed runs or some long mellow turny 25 mph carving runs that can be taken as speed runs if you push/tuck well enough.
I'll be home around the 22nd of august. There are some runs in Chesire I found too, but pavement is sketchy.
