Mobile Internet Access for Silverfish

Hello,

I posted this in another forum. I was wondering if anyone locally has experienced this. Its really weird, as Silverfish is the only website that I cannot access from my WM5 enabled phone. I cleared cache, cookies etc etc.

"I usually access the fish via cell phone. I noticed that since Saturday/Sunday I have not been able to load the site. I have no problems with any other website and my desktop access is fine. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?"

Sounds weird. I noticed in the past month the Fish has been using a new ad system within the forums. It might utilize javascript that could cause WinMo 5 to hiccup or just die. I'll try it on my BlackJack now..

..actually it's loading fine (at a snail's pace) on my phone. I'm not sure what is wrong with yours...sorry dude

Yeah man, its strange. I have seen javascript errors but this is related to the connection to the server. I ran a ping tool against the silverfish server and latency is very low. I was thinking that it was going to be high. This would have led me to believe that WM5 has a timeout value or something. Whatever is causing it, happened two weekends ago after site upgrade (99.9% sure). I tested with friends WM6 phone and no probs. The exact error msg I recieve is "The page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost. Check the connection and try again later". I would sometimes get this error in the past. Never lasted more then a few hours though. I just assumed site was down for maintence.

Oh well, thanks for the help sprodigy. Mobile access to the fish was a nice thing to have while sitting through boring meetings @ work .
