The 17th, 24th, 31st Are Wheelibrator days. I open my back yard to tents for those who want to hit up some Gnarlly runs on the Saturdays before. B.Y.O.S.
Some of these runs are to a limited amount of riders due to parking, length of road, space on road, etc. Safety meetings are everywhere. Bring your gear ie helmets, leathers(if chosen), pads and gloves. If you don't want gnarl-dog runs I can lead you to whatever you chose to ride for the day. There is a pleathera of runs on all levels of riding, within minutes of my house.
P.M. me for reservations and/or more info.
Derry, GTree, Gager, Raymond, and any other ones on "our city rules tour". 10-15 or more, not sure of how many. All within ten mins of the reservation.
anyone want to hit up wheelabrator or g-tree tomorrow? I was thinking about Durfee hill but that's an early morning place and I'm not really sure if I wanna get up early and travel that far

Despite the crap weather I've really been wanting to skate with a crew, I could go for meeting up at Wheelabrator tomorrow, skate for a few hours then head out to some other hills. To the Hamiltons - do you guys have any good thrashing/slopestyle hills? Stuff that's really steep so you have to slide a lot, roads with driveways to carve up on the sides, etc. Maybe?
I understand that, though I feel that way more in the Winter when all the hills I snowboard are like less than 1000 feet of drop and I miss paces with 2-3K of drop. Nothing on this coast thatcures that itch sadly

I will be out on the Cape for the 17th - might be able to make the 24th - hope you have a blast - and represent well...
bpz - you and Briggs gotta hit the hill in Prospect, CT - Search on a map for Rt. 69 and Talmidge Hill Rd. - Also - Summit is good with lots of turns, but a couple of stop sign would make it challenging. Take Rt. 84 to the Rt. 70 Exit(Cheshire/Prospect) - it is just past the 691 interchange heading towards Waterbury. Left off the Exit, first Right on to Summit - go all the way up Summit - through the two stop signs. Left at the light (Shell Station on your right). Next light is the center of Prospect. Go straight - about a 1/8 or quarter of a mile, there is a fire station on your right. That would be the starting point... massive hill...
