Ithaca- Skate sessions

So I know there is a thread already with some of this info, but we are going to change format a bit with the monday evening sessions. Also, this thread can be used to communicate about all sessions in the Ithaca area, as well as a place to introduce yourself as a local rider or visiting.

Monday nights we are now meeting at 5pm. Still meeting at the ice rink parking lot in Cass Park. Each week we will decide our destination based on the skill of the riders attending the session. We will shoot for a 5:30pm departure from the park for the hills(or cruise the park). After hill riding, we'll get some grub and continue riding into the night until everyone is too tired. Any given session is usually between 8-12 riders, but we hope to see many more throughout the summer. Keep your eyes peeled for info about upcomming sessions.

For those of you who attended last night's sesh... I had lots of fun, and hope everyone enjoyed the road. Hope to everyone next week, and many more to come. If this becomes a big event every week we can meet even earlier.

when i was driving home this morning i saw a kid cruisin down the sidewalk on a little longboard. ithaca probably has a lot of local riders, might get a lot of new people if you put up somethin about the monday sesh on craigslist. i'm thinking about doing that in binghamton to see if there are any longboarders who aren't on the 'fish.

anyone wanna trade me a similar sized set of wheels for my 66mm strikers? strikers are good and mine are in great condition, i just wanna try something new. and keith, how about a complete slide setup for that demonseed? i'll bring it monday and you can check it out.
