Evo would be fine for city riding. Low enough to push easily, and with truck tweaking you could make it work

yea its a great run. i cant wait for warm weather.

FYI, the path itself is in wantagh.

the evo would be perfect. I usually use my DH board on that path... demonseed... makes the long distance kick sooo much more enjoyable.

My lowest board is almost 4" tall, so pushing talls boards isn't as issue for me. Lower is sooo much easier when pushing switch, though. My Ricard feels weird though, because the height changes depending on where my feet are on the board. I think I could manage pushing/pumping it 5 miles easily, 10 would get tiring though

Finally some nice weather. tomorrow and sunday are supposed to be 45 degrees and sunny.

I am planning on skating that path to jones beach tomorrow and sunday... prob earlier in the day. If anyone wants to join me shoot me a PM we will figure it out.

I'm headed to NYC tomorrow, otherwise I would definitely come along bro.

1pm @ Columbus Circle - Trip around central park
2pm shred over the Williamsburg to the Bustin store

Apparently these dudes meet up every Sunday, sounds pretty fun.

that sounds awesome... i am leaving for vacation tomorrow night so i can not attend... im getting ready and heading over to skate that path now. enjoy the weather!

Went skating, on this beautiful day that was March 19th. Skated around the Setauket / Stony Brook area. Not sure about anyone else but every time I go out skating (or longboarding...the girlfriend doesn't consider longboarding 'skating'...but anyway) at least one person always has a comment and we usually start a conversation. Granted, my Evo doesn't exactly look like a conventional skateboard (nor does any other Evo, or most of the Landyachtz arsenal for that matter), but it's pretty insane how people will just say stuff to me.

Does this happen to anyone else here? :P

hey do you know any good massapequa spots? i youtubed this video of folks bombing some hills in massapequa i never knew even existed im right next door at Wantagh btw
