Left to Right (or Bottom to Top):

• Cut-Down Subsonic Barrage w/ G-Bomb brackets, S-10 Trucks, 97mm Flywheels
• Original Apex 37, S-8 Trucks, Lime Freerides
• Legendary Gnome, S6 Trucks, Grapey Apes
• Original Derringer, S6 Trucks, In Heats

The Gnome isn't reall mine, it belongs to my 6-year old daughter, but she'd cry if it wasn't in the pictures. Not pictured is my brother's Custom 35 with S-8 trucks, which used to be mine.

Of all of them, these are the two I like the most:





The Gnome really doesn't have enough footspace for me, though it's plenty for my daughter. Derringer fits my big feet much better. And the G-Bomb has pretty much stolen the Apex's place in my lineup. I might have to sell the Apex if I don't start riding it again soon. I suppose if I ever get into manuals and shovits and such I might miss it, but I think I'd rather just have a purpose-built dancer if it comes to that.

What else you guys got out there? Show me more!

Well...now I ride a flex1 dervv but I am looking to buy an original apex within the next few weeks. I want it for mainly flatland/mild hill carving and a bit of sliding(speed checks etc). I am thinking about the apex 37 what do you think? I was considering the apex 34, but it seems wayy too short :/

and trucks will be S8's and Lime ZigZags...

I love my Apex 37 with lime freerides. i've been use'n it pretty much everything but bomb'n hills. It picks up speed so eazy when i'm slashing turns and i love that. Once you learn how to ride the trucks it becomes a whole new level of joy ride'n it around.

Im getting an apex 37 real soon and was wondering what you guys would suggest as far as wheels go? I already have dervish(flex1, randal180, otang inheats) but am buying this board for carving and maybe learning to slide a bit.

My choice so far seem to be...

abec 11 81a grippins
retro lime zigzags
retro lime freerides

Im leaning towards slalom shaped so i can pump out massive carves but still uncertain. Suggestions are welcome.

130lbs, middleweight flex, s8 trucks

I'd go with the freerides, they carve very well at 80a, and dont really side out tha much. Tho prety much any wheel you put on the Original trucks will side out. I've run slalom wheels and was able to side them pretty easy.

I should take pictures I guess, but that seems silly until I repaint the deck. I have a hybrid 35 with S8s and big zigs etc. The only thing I don't like about the board is it's graphic.

I've been learning how to slide on my apex with some abec 11 gumballs 78a and they're working out nicely....
