That is Lansdowne, its in Maryland, and its the offical "hot wheels race car/rollercoaster track" for longboards. I think I'm heading there on the 4th of July in fact.

I spent two days there last time I went. Its alot of fun. It's only 3 hours from me, so its probably even less for you Rak. about an hour and a half once you get past the Delware Memorial Bridge, if that.

As soon as we plan something, you are more than welcome to come dude.
I am up for the bike path idea. Hmmmm, maybe if we set up a charity causes or something for it, like a mini skate for cancer, then when we take off work and such, it won't be as bad as saying " piss off, I'm going skating for 3 days straight".

I was thinking the exact same thing. I was also going to try and get a skatepark built in this area after my wedding in September, so I was thinking it could be a fundraiser type thing for that. It also turns out my Fiance was the one who actually made that map, and also remembers almost the whole route. She would be a big help. But right now I got to focus on my wedding, as she's freaking out (they normally do for the last two months before, or so I hear) and get all that done.
But getting a bunch of us together to skate in the near future should not be as hard as it has been. Half of us live in the same area for Christ's sake!!

If we know that we'll do this and not let it just die down, i'll start maping out every skatepark near the road. approval?

oh yeah. take it easy bro, it'll all be over soon. but yeah, i am down for whatever. and if you get a crete park w/ some mellow tranny, a snake run and some deeper 5hit, in jersey, i will be your biggest fan. don't forget a street section to keep the flippers outta our hair!

**** the flippers.
How about we just take turns and drive and just showup randomly at other people's houses, you can't so no to that

@ Rak, Crete is the only way, I wouldn't have anything else built, at least with my name associated with it. And you read my mind with a snake run, I'm thinking snake run that ends in a nice combi bowl like Slayerville. I would let the local flippers design the street course. But that's all up in the air until I get a location, budget, approval. etc.
@ Tyler, go ahead and just show up at my house, I live on a 6 grade hill, so you won't be disappointed either way. Just watch that intersection at the bottom 8)
and finally, @ george, novel idea, but you'd be wasting your time. The only decent park worth stopping on that run would be Sayreville, the rest of the parks in NJ are up and down street courses with no flow. At least the ones that I know of.

Again, great idea, but that would be about 150 miles or more into the run, don't know how much additional pumping I'd be down for at that point 8)
I was thinking about having a two day thing from the top of the run down to a certain point to test the waters. Skate all day, camp, skate some more, go home.
