They were going to but one of my friends used to play baseball with the son of the mayor so he talked to him and they didnt close it. Now they got a new guy who reads a newspaper all day not even by the park.

Depends on who you ask as they recently laid off the staff. After 5 letters of complaint to the Parks Commissioner and no replies, I saw old staff back yesterday who said open October and then weekends weather permitting like it used to be. Plenty of drama and misinformation.

You should definitely come anyways and skate your balls off, there will be a good turnout of sk8diots.

oh i'm have no skill at skating pool. everytime i go, i start to get the hang of carving the pool but then i don't go for a good while and lose it. i wish i could make it out. but its just too far. canarsie is a long way from owls head. that and i put a lot of work in downhill sliding and cruising. but thats good that it'll remain open. i hope for my schedule to change in the future so i can skate there. i hear pool skating is the tops.
