Central Jersey Session - 9/26

Yo whatup Central Jersey skaters. This Saturday I'm looking to have an open freeride/chill session at Mt Harmony Road in Bernardsville (07924).

It is an awesome hill with a lot of sweet turns and a tight hairpin towards the end of it. It is a relatively quiet road off of Route 202/Mine Brooke Road. The pavement is smooth and its pretty fast.

PM for further details or questions, and I will most likely be holding this at around 2 or 2:30.

No I have not. How far is it from bernardsville? And btw sick set-up... I thought I was the only one with a velocity

i <3 my velocity lol and i just looked it up on google earth, if i am correct bernardsville is in northern somerset county? well SR is in more central middlesex county. and what are you running on your velocity? i personally am not a fan of the grizzlies. i want to get rid of them but they are beat to hell so i cant sell them. and they are my only pair of trucks. im thinking the randal 180's next?

I go back and forth depending on how I feel but right now its got Mile High Hybrid 215's with durians. super sick turning and sliding. But if I want to do some hills I put paris's with 76mm raceforms

yeah if you can make it out saturday I'll sell you some Randal 180's on 42* plates for 35 bucks. I've used them once. Your choice of bushings of... Stock Paris, Stock Randal, Bear Pumpkins, or for a little more I could put Black jimz speed bushings

i'd love to go but 1, i dont have a license and dont own a car. and 2, i have marching band until like 3 or 4. if you are ever riding something again hit me up, im sure my brother and i would have a good time. and by the looks of that video, the roads around you guys are awesome

Woo my video! lol Ya Mt. Harmony road is pretty nice. If there are at least two cars there, park one at the bottom for sure. I left my car on the first street up on the right and it was fine. Left the second car at the church at the very top. Two hair pins, one 90* and one 180* ( or close to it. Lots of blind spots so have some spotters if your taking turns. Its probably 45mins from South River.

18N --> Easton Ave --> 287 N--> Ex 14b Rt.22 West --> 202/206N --> 202N --> Mt. Harmony

Check out Pheasnt Hill Drive. It's 2mins west of Mt Harmony, on 202. Thats where we shot the last part of the video. Two real nice hills, wide, no traffic at all.

I'll see if Jack (the guy that showed me this place and skated in the video) can make it up with some Rutgers guys.

We have not bombed the whole thing yet but you probably get around 30-35 at points

Nah dude sorry. 2:30 is the earliest...

EDIT: What time were you thinking? Because even though I couldn't go any earlier, two of my friends probably could, and I would be able to meet up with you guys at 2:30...
