Yeah, I should've warned ya about that. Funny, they harassed you, they've harassed me while skating, yet they did nothing to my neighbors who were blasting salsa in their backyard until 1am like they do every weekend

just to clue you guys in, just off of liberty there is a road thats slightly inclined, not great for slalom but still fun, so you could bring your slaloms as well

I don't know about Holdrum, that's where we would park and it is a pretty popular sidestreet.

Whatever we fo we don't want to attract TO MUCH attention because cops are dicks there. It will help if we all have helmets and pads on, don't litter and keep the noise level down we won't be harrassed by the cops.

No board, and no, ant doesn't have any extras.

Allright, it is on for sunday. Pm me if you want to come, and I will hook you up with directions and what not. My mom decided that she will grill and we will have drinks and the whole shebang.

Terrain- Three hills-from moderate to balls to the wall.

Boards-Bring a serious speed board and a slider. I find sliding is a good way to get used to the hill before you start going crazy on it.

Other Stuff- Helmet, Pads and Gloves are A MUST!!!!!! Also if anyone wants to bring drinks and stuff again that's cool.

Time-Meet at my house between 12:30 and 1:30, we might push it to 2 if need be but let me know what's up either with a pm or and im.

Sounds good! I'll bring my sliding setup too, just one of you has to teach me how to slide I can do old stand up slides a little, but coleman's and stuff have evaded my grasp.

On a side note, I took a pretty high speed slam yesterday. I was going faster then I normally go, trying to build up my speed tolerance by starting higher and higher on one hill and then cutting onto a side street and back up another hill. Well I didn't notice some asshat's car that went down the side street dripped a trail of fluid down the center. went to carve into the street, wheels hit fluid, as$ hit ground. Turner's-want to fall? just add water. I got some road rash and a scraped up knee, nothing major. My scab count has gone dramaticly up this summer. 8)

I suggest "The Wiseguys" of maybe "The Jersey Devils", or if you want to go really bad and lose all respect for ourselves "The DoucheBags"

Personally, my vote is with "The Wiseguys".

How bout the DAGGERS!!! Then we can have jousts at empty ditches with the ramp locals!!!

The whole "douchebag" thing came about because a certain group came on here and were all serious about their group like they were a street gang or something, so I figured I'd poke fun at it a little. Plus I think it would be funny if we entered races or posted pics under the NJ Doouchebags. If you can't laugh at yourself every once in a while your taking things way too seriously.

You guys want to come up with some sort of name I'm all for it, but I think it should be something thought of during one of our sessions, not decided here.

    haha, agreed, sensei.
it's kinda like in middle school when i was perpetually starting bands with friends and we would have come up with like 10 names before we even practiced. (then when we did practice it was me vs. the boys who wanted to have a loogie contest- but my drumset was louder than all of their sissy acoustic guitars 8) )

anyway, thank you all for a great time on sunday. it was the first opportunity i've had to really carve a hill without having to worry about running into cars or a gajillion other people. it was also really great to try out a few of those myriad boards. i don't think philo and i will be able to make it to the next session, but we're definitely down for future gatherings. and for post-session bbq's!
