Today was a good session man, a solid three hours in the bowl.
The only bad thing about today was we got about 2 minutes of footage before the damn bikers showed up and started spot raping us, so we called it a day.

Okay, so who wants to teach a fat old guy how to surf? It's the only board sport I can't do, I've successfully tried all the others, but surfing has eluded me. I have a board and everything - a 9'4" Hansen that's collecting dust. Wanna help a brother out?

@ Mike- Cool, thanks for the heads up. I might be in the market for a longboard when I get back from Hawaii. I'm going to rent a foamy out there and see how that goes. Right now I'm just going out with a sponger and getting used to the ocean again. Saturday was my first day back in it in god knows how long, since I was a youngin. Had alot of fun though.
@Tyler- That sucks that you experienced "rad racing" on Sunday, I've had that happen to me there before. Me and 10 other bikes, and I was the only one on a skate. Normally you can wait them out, and most of the time they let you get more runs in then them, since they all drop in from the oppisite side. Yeah, there was no waay I could skate sunday, I couldn't even walk.
@Boe-hey man, I'll take those lessons with ya. I have a surfboard now but its kind of a death trap, but hell, we both laugh at each other eating Jersey toxic water

Oh, and speaking of Jersey toxic water, I now know what that huge ride I'm planing for next year is going to try and raise money for: Cleaning up the Jersey beaches. I saw plastic bottles, sixpack rings, and other crap floating in the water. Also some weird plastic bead jell looking things were all around in patches everywhere. At first I thought they were maybe jellyfish, but flicked a few off my board and realized they were some form of plastic

hey, can i shoot some footage for the douche pirates surf video???
i think i'll call it Liquid Waves, or The Jaws of Surf, or Shores of Death, or maybe Surfing Surf Pirates!
i'm gonna edit down with 1970's filters to make it look vintage.
i'll set up an underwater cam attached to a jet ski for closeup action.

Early, like at least 9am at the latest. Like I said, let me check with the bride to be, but it should be all good.

yucko! lbi has none of that, our beaches are like, trashless, never see trash floatin in the water except for the occasional beer bottle thrown in by some angry piney, but id love to do a skate to clean up the jersey beaches, that would rule!

Hey Philo, are you and Boot driving from NYC? If so, do you have room for an extra rider? I tried figuring out trains from New York, but the weekend schedule is non-existent...

i saw the 5boro team at drop in skatepark a while ago.
as for the banks, 30-50% are not skateable (paths and benches were put right infront of them).
