Me and Tyler had a good session yesterday and found two little gems worth mentioning.
One is a brand new condo site not even 1/2 a mile from the other 2 condo sites. This one is just starting to be built, there's not even foundations for the houses down yet but the road IS JUST STARTING TO GET DONE Which will equal traffic free skating on the hills for quite some time, that one's gonna require a little patience but will be well worth it. Just cross your fingers that they don't make all the hills dump into intersections.
The other is a HUGE parking garage, multiple levels and wide long ramps. Totally looks do-able from the outside, but needs more recon as far as bustability and whatnot. I'm thinking about an early morning dawn patrol there on Sunday.

Sounds great, Scout Sensei.... excellent news. Tyler mentioned that new road is gonna be tight, with switchbacks, etc.
So, next Wednesday might work well if you're still up for it. Kind of an 'end of the summer' afternoon session before everyone gets back to real life. Sounds like there are a few people who will clear their schedules for the quarry bikepath and Big A$$ condo run. I've already told my peeps I have an important 'appointment' that day, and my boss asked if I was going skateboarding. Busted.
Parkway south to exit 124 I think? It's the first exit as soon as you go over the raritan bridge, or the "mason dixon line". End of ramp make a left, right at the light, follow that road straight to Wally world. First right after you pass the Pizza Hut, JFK memorial park.
Cool you guys had a session there yesterday, I was stuck here at work. Skated in the parking lot here for a little bit.

Yeah man, I called a couple of times. It was a pretty good sesh though, it was just me and ant for like two hours. That guy eddy was there for like an hour. Even the bikers that came were cool.
The only bad thing is that there were two like 8 or 9 year old kids that were just spot raping everyone and totally being gay. I rolled in and one of them put is board out to drop in and I almost hit him.

yo for wednesdays session... anyone up for going to sayreville instead of dh?? or both??? i wanna skate the bowl as much as possible before school starts...
I couldn't swing Sayreville tomorrow, by the time I get out of work it would take like three hours just to get down there with traffic. Getting through the Newark/Orange area is a b!tch at that time.
Tomorrow's not looking so good as a whole either. There predicting heavy storms all day coming off of huricane Katrina

Yeah I'd definitely prefer to hit up some hills; I might take a bus in and wander over to Magnolia/Liberty if a Condo session is out. The Weather Channel says there's a 30% chance of scattered thunderstorms, so it's definitely iffy at this point, but I already got the day off so I think I'd like to chance it and try to skate. Sensei, I'll trying calling you tonite and see what you think.
Anybody need to make a run over to Skatewerks for any reason? I need to pick up some DH trucks for my new Formula-inspired speedboard!!!
