    very cool sensei :)

as for the day, i was assuming saturday, but i don't know if anyone specified.

board wise, i'm thinking my koi and the factory13. any use for a longer board there?

as for wheels, how badly will the 98a hornets do? i have some bombers in 84a or so which i can bring, but only the one set.

boot isn't going to be able to make it, she's got a friend in town. boo for bad timing.

Yes, Saturday. That sucks Ned. Bring your sister along, I'm sure she'll love the converstations Tyler and Ant bring up on car rides

Philo, I'd rock the 84a bombers. That's what I skated there last time, and two locals (Dillon and Cabbage) tried my board and commented on how fast and smooth they worked there. Unfortunately I started sliding on those so now they won't grip on walls for poop. So I'm bringing some small 62mm 75a's, and my black death's. As far as biggin's, I've seen guys riding 57 inchers in there. Yes there is room for em, just not in the snake runs. I'm bringing my 40" edwards, 38" Bulldog, and 48" Bamboo Fatty.

As soon as I figure out how far Everybody's house is and whatnot, I'll tell you guys what time I'll pick ya up. Anybody else?

All right guys, here's a good site with photo's and info on the park:

    http://www.skateboardpark.com/skateb...rk.asp?ID=1582

I just did some mapquesting, and Philo's stop is right along the way to where we gotta go, so......

Tyler, I'll come get you first, around 7-7:30 ( I promise, no whiskey the night before again, Ned won't be there to force it on me like last time ) and Philo, will make it to you around 8am. Sound good? Anyone else along the Parkway/Turnpike want to hitch a ride and go skate?

Right on. You know my number, its cool if you give it to them.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, there's also a skatewave lego park there too, away from the ditch, bowl and snakerun. Its mostly street, with a little two foot mini ramp too. I didn't even touch it last time I was there, but its cool cause it keeps alot of the traffic down with the youngin's. Like Sayreville, they only venture to the tranny once and a while, and stay on the street course all day. Oh yeah, and the one of the best parts about this park, no bikes!! 8)

Hopefully I kick this cold I got now by saturday, I'm all drugged up on medicine now.

Cool Ned. I tried to find some pics of the new banks, but all I could find were that contest they had there and it was just pics of guys doing the stair set (big surprise )

EDIT: Oh, and feel better bro. My whole body aches like crazy right now and I can't breathe. It sucks because its a really nice day out, and I can't skate. BALLS!!! Going home to take the big Q and pass out. (I love that f-n Q)

@Bob-dude, drink some whiskey, or better yet, everclear, and that'll fix ya right up

Sorry, I meant friday for Sayreville, dumb mind.

Yeah, I think everclear might beat whiskey and gin though.

    Can't wait for saturday.

Actually, a shot of 151 is the best thing to clear your sinuses 8)

Feeling better today, although I feel like my head is floating off my shoulders from all the medicine I took this morning, which is making work more intresting.

Weather is looking good for both Sayreville and Lansdowne this weekend. Have fun at Sayreville Homer.

Guys, I found when I went to teach on Monday, that my brother had ordered a whole bunch of stuff for the kids. One of them, was a set of flat cones perfect for banked slalom. Should I grab them for Saturday? If the park's not packed we could set some up.

    Yeah man.

We should have ample room this time, lol. Remember last time when it was you, me, ned and ant, and we had the big cooler and about 15 boards and 4 giant skate bags?

But really, I can't wait. Hopefully I will have my new board done by then.

so board wise, i'm def. bringing my fact13 and koi.

of the following, what would be worth bringing:
lbl 60" with exkates and avilas
    tikimau 48" with r2 150s and avilas
flushcut with r2 180s and gumballs
dh with original6 and strikers 88a

and this would fall into the have to bring it category, as i'm schlepping them out via mass transit.

and i might leave the fact13 at home if y'all think it's too short (34")/ there will be enough comparable decks that it's not worth the hassle.

Philo, if it was me, I'd go with the tikimau (not just cause I wanna ride it either ) Only because: 1: I've seen alot of guys running randals in there, and they seem to love them. I'm also bringing my Bamboo fatty with Originals so you can ride that too, to try originals on banks. 2. 48" inches is just big enough to have the real longboard feel, without being too long. Plus it would probably be easier for you on the train. 3. I'm not sure how well a lowered board would feel on banks, although it would be intresting. Oh, and bring the Factory 13, there's a tiny little mini ramp to play on there too, among other things. The two snake runs that lead into the ditch and the bowls are tiiiiiight.

I'll also be taking out a seat in the Loser wagon to fit boards in easier, since its only the three of us. Although like Tyler said, we've crammed that sucker full before somehow with more. I figure we can stop at a convience store before we get into the park to load up on Gatorade and whatnot. Besides, it'll give you guys a chance to sample Lansdownes "local flavor"

If you guys need me after 3:30 today, call my house or my cell. I'll be on the floor training tonight between 6:30 and 8:30 though. Tyler I hope you got my PM. If I don't hear from you, I'll see you all tomorrow morning, bright and early 8)

    you guys suck. i'm jealous.
    have a great time.

so, i finally cemented the aluminum flashing on my formula speed/carve board yesterday while i stayed home sick with the flu; it looks pretty slick. i think i'm gonna cruise that board around the city during the broadway bomb -- it's definitely attracting attention. my friend dave is talking about bringing a flask of JD to the race; he's asking for trouble.

tyler, you and roastbeef need to come into town even if you don't race. make it happen.

    UPDATE:

Looks like my friend from the BDS forums, Craig, might be coming along for the ride also. He lives a little north of Westwood, so Tyler, I'll be picking you up at 7, sharp, and Philo, we should be getting to your house around 8.

Mr. Teamfun will be meeting us at the park after he gets out of work at 5. Tyler, you'll remember John from the first ever Jersey Jam. If anyone knows how to lay down a slalom course on that park, he's the one. He's also a really cool and chill guy. Maybe he can point us in the direction of a decent place to grab a bite to eat later on too, not like the Taco Bell with the employee's behind bullet proof glass that I ate at the last time I was there

I have the Evolutions DVD from the new Concrete Wave. I also have a mini portable DVD player. If any of you guys happen to have a car cigarette lighter adaptor power source thingy, we'll, you'll have two of the three hours to kill in the car down. I might still have mine, I have to look.

Tyler, can we use your cooler bag type thing? This way since were not going to fill it until we get to Lansdowne, it will take up alot less room then my huge cooler.

Any questions, call me tonight at my house or on my cell. Otherwise eat a good breakfast tomorrow and I'll see you in the morning. Be sure to eat cause once the last solider has entered the car, its non-stop to Lansdowne. I'll make ya pee out the window if I have too

    Sweet Jesus

Yesterday was an amazing day!!! The road trip was awesome, despite the late start and it was nice to meet Craig and skate with philo again.

Bob- if you are up to it again, and thinking about going back the 29th, I would be more than happy to pitch in and do whatever I can to help and make it easier on you. Big props to you for yesterday and setting this whole thing up.
