You should've seen the amount of kids there "street" skating yesterday, it was like a goddamn skate park. I'm guessing it was becuase of the rain, and it was the only dry spot to skate. If they keep leaving trash around though, I'm going to make their anorexic as$es eat it next time. Seriously, why can't they learn to throw all their garbage into there car like I do (I now have about 50 empty gatorade bottles and counting)

Okay, so Joe sent me an email askin' about a clinic/race thing. I'm good for April 9th or 16th - either good for you guys? and what's the deal with IHA, can we get permission to skate?

I don't know if Joe is gonna come down here or if we're gonna find a place part of the way in between, but I figured we could start with a date

The 9th is no good Fats, We'll be driving home from the Ohio race.

The 16th isn't probably good either, since its Easter, and its also my Mom's Birthday. And just to be a further pain in the as$, the 4/22-4/23rd I won't be able to attend either, I have a wedding on one day and a tournament fundraiser the next. Not that you have to schedule around me, but I would like to go.

IHA would probably be better on a Sunday since nobody's there. We could try to get permission, but that might backfire serverly. We never had a problem until this weekend with that cop, and that was only because somebody obviously pee'd in his cheerios that morning. The teachers and neighbors there have all watched us and thought it was cool.

Plus, if we make it on a Sunday, we can use Ikea as a backup. Ikea is totally empty on Sundays, you can set multiple courses all over the place, and best of all, can be skated even if its raining. Only problem is its mostly flat (as you saw).

tonight was a good session at ikea... bob and i were running hybrid the entire night. we started out with 5 cone offsets, then to 3, then every other, and man did that get hard...

also i constructed a pretty sweet setup from a garbage board, rtx/s's and some old stingers... it worked really well tonight and i think im gonna put some time and effort into it and make it a jersey monster....

Last night was a great session! Anybody want proof that its 90% skater, 10% equipment, should watch Anthony rip courses on a k-mart board he found in the garbage He was killing it on that thing last night!!

OK Farmers,

Race#1 is tentatively set for Sunday April 23rd in NJ. Details to follow.

It will be a very grassroots outlaw race. No frills. Race and bail as the bust factor is high but there is a good backup site about 20min. down the road.

We all need to work together to make this happen. Be ready to go with few practice runs.

i just ordered my fatboy.... MUAHAHAHA ill be updating my equipment, and that garbage board is deffinetley getting redone for a school project...

I noticed yesterday as Beef and I were re chaulking the course at Ikea, that alot of the cones already had three options to put the cone in, because of the different amount of offsets we've ran there.

So I came up with an idear. If we just added a circle or two to every 7 ft. marking, we'd have a grid like this:

We'll you get the point. This would allow us to set all types of different courses in virtually no time. This way, once we clean the course going as fast as possible- We change it. Or if you really want to get intense, we could never run the same course twice
I've sitting at work using this same grid making courses, some with negative cones, some with diagnals, straight sections, wider offsets, etc. We could even skip sections to make more distances, run GS boards, etc.

I figure this would be good for practice and help keep us on our toes. That or I'm just constructivly wasting time at work. Both of which are good for my own mental health, so its all good.

I'm sure Joe will chime in and throw a wrench into this, and prove my NOOB as$ wrong though

So who's down to skate tonight? I'm skipping class tonight, its too damn nice outside.
