i only have a few shots from the race... and a few more of bob's spot... theyre loaded on my computer at home so i guess ill post em at lunch when i get home... im not sure how to do the video but ill work on the too...
on the prospect park hill; sensei-- you'll have to give it a thumbs up on whether the hill is a good spot.
From what I rode of it, its perfect for a nice Beginner friendly course. You could set a nice course there that would let people who never rode slalom before get a good taste of it without getting fustrated, and get a whole bunch of new people stoked on slalom, which I think would be the goal. It's wide enough that you could even set a nice dual lane, which would be alot of fun. Plus I'm sure its fast if your pumping, I only carved a small part of it on my longboard that day we skated there in the -10 degree weather

NED! Where the f_uck where you? I hate to rub it in to you and Junior Gucci Shoes faces, but you guys missed a great race.
You guys should come up by me either tomorrow or thursday and we can session my spot. For T and Beef, if you guys want, I could meet you guys on my way home from work tomorrow if you want to follow me there, but you can just mapquest it. Here's the location mapquest link to the actual spot: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...0Park&qc=Parks
Saturday: Sayreville early morning sesh for Beef's Birthday! Then maybe a slalom sesh in the afternoon? Wifey's going away to Vegas Friday, so I gots the whole house to myself and no comitments the entire weekend other then letting my dog out to crap every once in a while. Maybe Sunday a mini race? Timer's got fresh batteries and ready to go.
Oh, and Beef! Post up that vid where you followed me down at my spot Saturday!
what time are you fuggers thinkin about meeting at sayreville?
DIRECTIONS: From north, take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 124 (Sayreville). Turn left, and follow to Washington St. Dunkin Donuts will be on your left turn right onto Washington, and follow that about two miles through town. After Pizza Hut (on your right) go through the light and turn right into Kennedy Park (across from the schools), and the skatepark is in there on the right. Rip it. Look for the owl.
edit** that was off the sideways guide... it's the way we take, so its right... haha if you want more specifics lemme know... also if your coming from south jersey... someone else will have to help you with that...we be from up norte

my only friend who skates lives in mass.
i am comming from central/south jersey - hamilton. if anyone knows how to go from there, sweet. if not, i'll figure it out.
i'm gonna shoot to be there by 9am. look for a short, kinda fat old guy w/ a chin only goatee riding either a poolking, a powell pig, or a zorlac doublecut.
I want to shoot to be there by 9am also, the infestation of little kids gets to me. I think I was tramatized from the two years I spent teaching the kids at the school.
Rak, don't quote me on this, but after the race last Sunday I kind of remember the way we went to get to Sayreville from the south. You take the Sayreville exit, its right before the bridge and right after you pass the State police station there. Make a right at the light at the bottom of the exit, and this puts you on 35 South. Take that until you see signs for Rt.9, and you make another right onto Rt.9 (its at another light I believe) Take that until you see Washington St, make a right onto Washington st. Take that a ways up, eventually you'll come to a big intersection with a Pizza hut on your far right across the intersection (you can see a little of the park behind it if you really look), go through the intersection and make your first right into Kennedy Park, across from the High School.

its agreed that my girlfriend and another friend are going to be coming down with us, so i think ty would drive too... plus my girlfriend will probably take a ##### load of pictures, so i can post them up after the session...
Good point. Plus I've skated there between showers. The bowl dry's in about 30 minutes. 15 if you fan it with towels and keep sweeping the small puddle that forms in the shallow pocket.

I'll be at Ikea tonight with the timer. I want to see if the new stance I've been working on is faster, and I want to see what is faster through the cyber course, my GS or my TS. I would set it up at my spot, but since I never timed myself there yet I don't have any comparisons to make.
I'll be there around 6, or earlier if you guys can make it earlier.
