Joe,
A cop showed up, asked what we were doing, asked if I lived in the town, then told us it was fine as long as we let anyone jogging on the path to go by before going down the hill and to be careful.
So I'm debating on wether or not I should even try to ask permission, with a chance of blowing it, or just going for it. What do you think?

If you ask permission be prepared to buy insurance.
Run outlaw and you better have a back up site.
But I'm sure we can think up some ways to keep it cool.

Back up site shouldn't be a problem, we would actually have two backup sites (IHA-nothing going on there in July, and worse comes to worse St. Andrews for those who know) both only 20 minutes away from the park.
The only thing I would say, is that if we do run it outlaw, we'd have to stick to the smaller hill in the back where we've been running. The bigger hill is alot faster, but the runout speeds directly past two playgrounds which normally have little kids playing on them. The cops might say something about that. But the smaller hill is all the way in the back of the park, and empty most of the time, espically in the early afternoon. You only get an occasional jogger and there normally pretty cool. We had no problems last Saturday.
Let's do it. Let me know what I need to do.

Well, I'm still going to see what it would cost to reserve the park for a "Birthday Party". It is, after all, my birthday the day of the race anyway

i can't tell what day you fux are talking about going to mass for, but saturday, 5/20 is calling for "few showers" at the mighty sayreville. my wife has given me the go ahead to sneak away from my 10 day old baby for an early morning session.
if you guys are gonna be in mass, have fun, i'll bust the solo flight. it'll be fun to carve twice, fall on my a55, then watch that dude w/ summer teeth blasting air-transfers to tail-tap between bowls.

CONGRATS RAK!!! 8)
There's a few things cooking right now, so far the race is still on, but the weather is not looking good. We were thinking about going to Central Park maybe if the race got cancelled, but now the weather looks like crap for that too. Maybe a morning bowl sesh might be in order.
I'm also considering just saying f-it and driving 10 hours to NC for a race if the one in Mass gets cancelled too. Yeah I'm crazy. You can see the "other" forum for a explanition on that idea.
But its only Tuesday, so you never know what the forecast holds. You know its Spring when your checking weather.com religiously
CONGRATS AGAIN ON THE BABY MAN!!! 8)

Nice Beef!!
You guys don't kill yourselves tonight, because the race is on! Check the Non censored Douchbag forum for details. I got a ton of s_hit to do tonight, otherwise I'd join you guys. I'll be on Sibbald soon enough.
If the race is rained out, where hitting the indoor. If its not, were hitting a bowl on our way home after the race. So just know were F-in skating this weekend. We may take our time coming home and maybe even hit another bowl in CT. depending on time and lighting situation!

hope you clowns rip it up hard. i talked a buddy of mine into going to sayreville w/ me tomorrow.
great kid, but annoyingly coordinated. hasn't been on a skate (but for the occaisional cruise) in years, but will prolly rip me to shreds in the bowl.
whatever, it's always good to have a wingman!

Hope you ripped it up Rak.
Just for your info, Groton CT ain't got nothing on Sayreville. Pictures may tell a thousand words, but tight ass trannys spread out across the park sucked. Someone better give that place a real bowl!!
Don't worry, we are one exit away from Johnny Cakes.
