sorry to hear that, cuz those pics looked SICK! pictures lie though!

i wouldn't go so far as to say i "ripped it," but i deffinitely picked up right where i left off last time, and even improved a little. i started to incorporate kick-turns on the flat walls into my lines, so i could get up speed to carve the pockets again, which seemed to work. i even hit the deep walls a few times, which were new to me.

my ultra-coordinated budy was shaky for about an hour. then he was hitting 50-50s, truck stalls and rock&rolls. a55hole.

there was a really cool dude there when i showed up, who was fun to ride with until my buddy showed up. then there was this guy giving bike lessions in the bowl. twas a little annoying, but he was also teaching them "bowl etiquette," so when the little dudes were done he was like, "get out of the bowl guys, it's that man's turn!" coulda been worse.

a few groms took my powell pig over to the street course, and dubbed it a "really cool oldschool board." share the stoke i guess!

anyone up for a tuesday AM hooky session? it's my last day of paternity leave and i want to get one of those no-grommets sessions in.

weekend was hella fun... i think that skatepark would have been better if it wasnt for that ****** puddle in the bowl...

yea we left our stains in massachusetts, and represented jersey to our best extent... i think ?

now its hardcore training for central park... not much time, but enough to get into good shape to smoke everyone...
and time to think about bob's birthday fiesta outlaw race... thats gonna be siiick !!! i cant wait to not have to drive over an hour to race 8)

Y'all should come into the city friday night and skate some cones at the RIP, then take a midnight run around Central Park.

That sounds perfect Ned. I want to come into the city this Friday night so I can set the course for the Race the following friday anyway. Race day is not the day to set the course, and I want to be able to take my time setting it so its easy enough for beginners, but yet still a little bit of a challenge.

i get off work at 1pm friday; lemme know if you guys come in early.

Won't be that early Ned, unless they send me home early on Friday, but I doubt that. I get out at 3, pick up tweedle dee and dum by 4, and then sit in traffic however long it takes to get to Brooklyn.

The day of the race I will leave work early and pick Moe and Larry up when they get out at 3, hopefully the extra hour will allow us enough time to get to the race by 7pm. That's what I want to feel out for Friday too. Mapquest says 40 minutes, but you know what traffic is like.

I'll let you know if I get out early.

I'll get out of work early on raceday and Scooter will pick me up at my Mom's in Parsippany.

Allright, Here's my plans, feel free to shoot holes in it if you wish.

I'm going to pack the car tonight for the Rip tomorrow. As long as its not raining out when I leave work, I'll be coming by T's to pick you guys up, make sure your at his house around 3:30-4:00.

If it does rain, we'll go Saturday night. Maybe Saturday mid day a sesh somewhere beforehand.

I'll call you guys tonight and talk it over with you.

Things are looking bleek. According to the hour to hour, the severe thunderstorms are supposed to hit Brooklyn right around 4pm, which is the same time we'd be leaving T's house. I'm still going to come down, and we'll call Ned before we leave to see what it looks like over there. Looks like we may have to do this tomorrow.

yeah, man, nothing's ever easy. Forecast looks freakin' PERFECT for Sunday/Monday, but definitely calling for rain today on the morning news. Call my cell when you get to Tyler's. I doubt anyone will show up at the RIP if there's even a drop of rain. New Yorkers have no balls.
