ok...so we're calling out anyone interested to come skate with us on saturday nov. 10, 2007.
we'll be meeting at 9:30-10:00am at the busy bee(2nd gas station) right off exit 11 on rt.78west.(central jersey twds. pa.)
we'll be skating both sides of rt.179/jugtown mt. and then heading over to scotts mt.
we're starting kinda early, hoping traffic will be minimal, which it has been on our previous sessions on rt.179.(scotts mt. is a very quiet residential road)
please bring helmets and i suggest pads also, these hills bring speeds of 30-40+ mph, but they do have run-off.
here's footy of some of what we'll be skating: rt.179p1 rt179p2a scotts mt. rd.
i have a mini-van but depending on how many show up we might need another "taxi" as these hills are to long to walk.
any questions or concerns... post them here or pm me.
hope some people can make it out. good times.

gordo, please make sure your guardian knows what's up. these are fairly big hills, as far as jersey goes, and like most skating its at your own risk.
we will also be driving to another location(scotts mt.) a few exits down 78west(like ten minutes away) when we've had enough of jugtown mt.
a question about public transportation has been posed.
unfortunately, places like this in central jersey just dont offer public transportation to them. the only way i know to get there is to drive.
from nyc you would have to take the holland tunnel to 1&9south/pulaski skyway to rt 78west to exit 11. the busy bee is the second gas station right off of the exit. it's pretty easy and should only take about an hour.
i'll also post my cell# the day before so if anyone gets lost or is running late they can call me.
please, still feel free to post here or pm me with any questions or concerns.

What:
This is the Bridge-to-Tunnel cruise! From 179th Street we will be crossing the George Washington Bridge, cross into New Jersey, and then skate all the way down to Hoboken. Total distance is roughly 11.5 miles. I think this is a nice warm-up for the spring. Also, hitting some nice hills along the way.
Where:
On Feb 2nd. 2008 we will ascend upon 179th/Broadway in NYC at the Pappa Johns Pizzeria.
When:
Saturday, Feb. 2nd at 12:00 noon.
Why:
Because I already gained a few pounds this Winter!! Na really... why not.... Longboarding in the Winter rules.
How:
Bring your longboards, short-boards, i-pods, and your out of shape legs!
Get at me if you have any questions,
-I don't expect any more than 4 people to show up, so if you have any ballz prove me wrong!!

We're going to be heading over this Sunday, and then after that theres usually sessions every week (as long as it's clear). It's got a nice long downhill, a bike path, and a nice slide hill. It's one of the best sessions in CT!
