I found 2 hills in the jersey city heights leading down to hoboken on google earth. I'll post google earth pics later but will quickly describe them.

Hill 1- One way road....the wrong way. But with 2 spotters you could do the whole thing without much worrying (or a police road block....I have stevens police road barricades.) Starts off with a gentle left into a hairpin right at about 20 mph. Then about a 200 yard steep leading to a super tight left hairpin (without slowing down you would be doing 40 into it) and down to an intersection (or a right hand hairpin thats kinda akward to hit.) Best skated at night with multiple spotters. You NEED to know how to slide and drift to hit this.

Hill 2- Havent' scouted it yet but goes through a tunnel into a 45 degree left hand turn and leads to observer highway in hoboken. Probably 40-45 mph.

Anybody into downhill should look into this, i'll probably have a session sometime next week.

NJ whats up, whats up? The weathers getting nice, the women are out in bikini's, and every shop/bar/store is open for the season up and down the coast... you know what this means! Its summmmma time! Yes ladies and gents thats right, and I'm here to tell you that lack of serious riders in the good old garden state is not only dry in the area's by you but my area as well .I wanna start getting meet's together at least twice a month on weekends which will be planned area's set well before the meet dates. All I need from you is a post reply with the area's that you live in and what style of skate your mainly into. All ages are welcome and this is going to be a skate at your own risk type thing. I hate to have to say it but please riders under 18 know that i will assume no fault to injuries that occur while at a "meet". (I'm not a dick though and i will help you if an injury occurs haha.)

A little Bit about me: I'll be the first to admit, I'm no pro rider. My style is mostly sliding, carving, and cruizing. Just trying to get a couple riders together to help themselves and help me get better by having other riders to push, befriend, and enjoy riding together.

yo man, I'm actually gunna be heading up to atlantic highlands, not this weekend but the next. I'll post for when for sure sometime next week so check back then if you think you'd be interested. I hear the hills there are pretty sick so i wanna go scope it. same goes for anyone else that might be interested. other than that, most of my spots are down by me which is at least an hour away from you. If you dont mind the drive let me know and I'll give up my spots.

Also I'm going to the go skate day in brooklyn this weekend, If your going, maye we can meet up on the train or something. anyone else going wanna meet up or wanna pitch in gas loot for a ride hit me up. got 5 seats with plenty of trunk space for everyones gear.

hey im from NOVA (NOrthern VirginA) and I have been comming up here more and more because my grandmas mental health has been slowly declining and i have no idea where to skate and cant seem to find anybody to skate with so if anybody is down with skating (cruising, carving, down hill racing, whatever else) any where near Montvale, let me know.
