that was a lot of fun guys, some serious skaters in the mix this week.
slide bowling... longest slide... slalom....and i saw a few blurs i assume were DHers...we ripped prospect allright.

Hey guys, I had a blast last night. I only took a couple of runs on my Hellcat, but it was good to get out and enjoy life before I take this stupid test. I'll be there next week in full force. I've got my safety gear on its way and that means I'll be bombing that hill with no regard for anything but speed!

how fast can you lot get going in there? I'm still deciding what boards to bring when I'm town for the Bomb.

There are some decent hills up here in Washington Heights, but because of traffic, you cant realy get any much about 35. Just when you start getting going a fleet of gypsy cabs is dispatched to ruin the fun.

Prospect park is 27 to 30 tops, but you'd need to draft Sensei to get to 30.

whew, another great time folks. i got my first real taste of those spanking hot new Superballs last night and i'm sooooo happy. they let loose like nobody's business. Sofa King set me straight learning standing slides, which are gonna be a breeze with these wheels once i learn to truly commit without worrying about landing on my ass.

unfortunately, like a complete dork, i stripped the axle threads on my slide deck Sixtracks so now i gotta figure that out soon. any remedy for that? apparently autumn skateshop my have a machine that can re-thread it.

your gonna have to find a die threader tool or machine somewhere to fix that... if autumn has one i say head over and fix your truck, shoot the sh!t and check out the shortboards, haha.

I'll be there again next weekend to draft. Who's Sensei? Well, I mean when I get to the park. How will I know who's whom? I'm the guy with the Hellcat. And I'm down to hit that max limit!

Some more expensive skate tools have manual re threaders. (about $20)

I called up Landy to see if they made those and they said not anymore, so I guess I'll have to spring for the carbon foam one eventually.

We were talking about getting a bunch of jason masks for friday the 13th rip, and just chase the penguin, ans bunny through manhattan on skateboards. So if you don't have a real costume, get a jason mask so we can cause a funny scene and get halarious footage.

Brian , do me a favour and grab me a jason mask.

Skunk, If you really want one here's some advice. Hit them up in the winter again. I know that when I talked to Mike last he sadi they wont do anymore as they are too busy. Things slow down for them in the winter...it might be worth asking then.

I have a question. How are the roads where we will be? I was going to bring my Big Zigs but I have been trying to keep them off really rough pavement.
