Did anyone show up at the RIP, I was there at like 7:45 and left at 8:25 because it was just me and the park is creepy at night.

DIRECTIONS:
Meet in Prospect Park at the 15th Street entrance
F Train to 15th St/Prospect Park station -- Park Slope Brooklyn
(Look for the entrance to the park across from the movie theater)
Note:
If you show up late or nobody's hanging out at the park entrance, skate into the park and turn right where the road forks; there's a long hill where we all skate about 1/8 mile from the entrance.

Where in Manhattan are you? You have to get onto the F somehow. You can take the A,C to Jay street in Brooklyn and get the F there. You can take the R to 9st and take a Coney Island bound F to 15st/prospect park. There are many many possibilities. I just need to know what trains you are near.
edit: ha I just read the part about "how do I get there from Manhattan".

Re: NYC - Earthwing RIP Updates
Yo around what street is that hill on or is it a road in the park, another quick question, im planning on riding a setup w/ revenge trucks for the trurning ability (traffic wise) Philadelphia is the city i normally skate but am well aware that Manhattans traffic flow is much different..... how intense are these hills (will i be alright with the revenges as far as the wobbles go) or should i switch back to the seismics. Just don't wanna finally get to one of these hills and eat #### cause i underestimated them (i don't remember any crazy hills in the park from last trip)

Re: NYC - Earthwing RIP Updates
The road down to downtown piermont is so sick.... really damn steep with a couple different ways you can go including a really tight hairpin and a really fast left hand 90 degree turn. I took a few runs from the top without a spotter but in retrospect it wasn't too great of an idea, a spotter or two is probably necessary for a safe run. It was pretty busy traffic wise today so I'd recommend hitting it in the early morning.
There are definetly some other good runs in the area but I didn't feel like sticking around after I got my slide deck run over after a bail while sliding to a stop at an intersection.
I'm probably going back this saturday morning. if anybody else wants to join.
Are people skating watchtower tomorrow?
