I suscribe to that blog, it was funny to see that video on there, even more so when i read the comments section and dude say "I know these kids, My company sponsers them"
the age comments also were humerous. like everyone on a skateboard must be twenty.

No doubt, I turn 29 in a couple of weeks. Last I checked, that is closer to 30 than 20.

Now I'm off to work on my 180 and 360 bonless on my new(ish) Superglider.

Don't think it's possible. I skate the Greenwood area almost every day (I really need to take a break but can't bring myself to do it)...from Bartel Pritchard Sq. across PPW and down McDonald Avenue, 7th Ave and 5th Ave on the West Side (23rd & 24th streets, so sick!) when I'm headed over to Sunset Park...and long to ride the abundant hills (I think the pavement might leave much to desire). But, alas, Greenwood is hallowed ground and the only way you are get anywhere close to skating it is if it's a covert op. And I wouldn't try it at night since they have dogs and armed guards patrolling.

I'm all about skating virgin territory or in areas where it's frowned upon (I rip the Park Slope sidewalks daily, much to the chagrin of mothers and dog-owners and their bitches) but I'm going to have to play the Narc-card here and say Greenwood's just going to have to remain a pipe dream. However, when the social order breaks down, I'll be the first one there!

Spent the last 5 hours in the hospital, got an MRI done. Hematoma forming on right hip in deep apparently, micro fracture, nerve damage, I can move the right leg now...out for a week+...yesterday night prospect park

This is after I screwed up my hip and still went skating arrghhh lesson lrnd.

Got to talk with a cute nursing practitioner resident though haha

I get my own serial number woot!

Get better dude! The perils of a high tolerance of pain... right there with ya buddy, right there with ya. I can't feel most of my right shin because I was too cool for pads. I was 15 then. Anyway.. feel better kiddo.

Thanks guys. I was practicing sliding, did a fast run up, as I was about to slide, the board lost its grip and I basically catapulted forward on my side. No concussion or anything but a passerby said I flew pretty damn far. My hip was already messed up to an extent so I had it coming.

Haha, at least you know how to slide right.

2 years of judo and I still can't fall right.
