Yea that area of Sunset Park is on an incredibly huge hill, but good luck getting into Greenwood they have tight-ish security.

I'm a big yankee fan, but it's NY, so I go both ways. I dig the new stadium, but then again, it's going to be smaller than the old one, which most likely means jacked up ticket prices to make up for it.

GreenWood is open to the public 8-4 everyday. I dont think going there with a camera and a board would be a big deal. Next Saturday maybe.

They'll probably stop you, you should probably drive into it if at all possible, because they do have people at the gate (most of the time).

Did you see a geezer on a vanguard? I was in the park today too from 4-6. Did a couple of laps and practiced slide stops and x-steps on the center drive. The far side by the parade grounds was nuts with people, but otherwise it was heaven.
Whenever kids talk to me in the park it usually goes like this:
kid - "hey nice board, what you pay for that?"
me - "that's a strange way to start a conversation with someone you don't know. why should i tell you?
kid - <<looking confused>> "well where'd you get it?"
me - "milehigh skates"
kid - "can you ollie that?"
me - "naw" <<laughs and skates away>>

Re: NYC - Earthwing RIP Updates
I got the ex-stiff version of that deck, it has very little flex. I have it set up with the shortest possible wheelbase also. Im able to slide it that way easier.

around 8-8:15, and everyone meets up inside the park. Right across the street from the Pavilion, take that entrance, and once you get in, stay right, and you will eventually see a bunch of skaters hanging out a quarter mile down.

Re: NYC - Earthwing RIP Updates
skated last night at prospect. kind of crowded with cyclists but no one was at the hill around 8.30 so my run down it was nice. made up a good amount of distance on a slow biker drafting, passed him right at the bottom and no one else passed me, so yeah, thats 3 out of 4 days at that place. i thought i was cool until
i saw an older guy riding downhill on a large unicycle juggling bowling pins.
