that was too funny. bucket head, a bunch of pirates, random skaters chacing a bunny, penguin masked riders and whatever the hell else. that was insane.

that sh!t was fun!
we skated 59th st to 8th st down broadway the cut over to ave A and freaked out the bar crowd as we headed to max fish on ludlow, drank a few then did a night slide session on st marks place for a few hours.
highlights were meeting grimace (you rock, dude! wish we had more time to party!) and seeing his amazing board setups finally, looking up and seeing a rabbit 1/2 under an octo-bike thingie (i dont know who was more surprised, the rabbit or the bikers), having 2 sexy skater pirate girls who rip close by , watching a penguin do kickflips, buckethead (he got the best comments screamed at him), sliding with the CT dreadies at 1am in the village (we're gonna do CT up soon)
so much fun! we're gonna do more "themed" city runs in the future. this was a great no pressure cruise, like being a biker gang, but without the scowls, lol! cant wait to see moe pics...

one of the best days/nights skating I have ever had....anyone that hits NYC needs to hook up with the EW crew...they know how to take care of people...much much love.

DAMN!!!! I've wanted to hunt one of those down bad. I have a helipro from back in the day that's seen its end. I need a bigger pack than the heli and Dakine's current heli is too small. I figured yours was old since it had the old style shovel pouch. If you ever feel like get'n rid of it, let me know.

Nah. The Park isn't what I was looking at. It was definitely an old Day Tripper. I was looking at a snowboarding pack with a old school shovel pouch, three cross straps and I believe it had a waist strap. It was a sweet pack and they don't make them like that anymore. Except the HeliPro, but it's too small. There's a couple others that are close, but they're just not the same.
