Right after everyone left the rip some girl tried DH'ing a skateboard. I watched her do it...and it didnt end well for her. She fell off the board around 100 meters past the rip spot and apparently hit her head, some bikers next to her stopped to patch her up. I came by and gave her some kingpin advice lol...wear your helmets...

Ha ha! I spent years pushing my kid's stroller on those paths by the picnic house, but I've never skated there.
Just get stuck in the habit of riding on the ring-road and the center-drive.
I think it's past time to broaden my horizons and give that a try.

I don't skate, I ride around with my razor scooter and a longboard on my backpack for the zumiez skater image. We should session sometime when you are in NY. I'll make sure to upgrade my bearings to abec 3
