Re: NYC - Earthwing RIP Updates
You can take the R to court and go down to columbia heights (its the closest road to the water, right before the pavillion). Or you take the 2,3 to Clark Street and do the same thing. When you get to Columbia Heights (thats the name of the road) you make a right on it and after a few blocks, you'll either get to or see the watchtower building. If you take the R its an extra 6 blocks or so on Columbia Heights. If you have any doubts, Columbia Heights is a skinny one way road heading towards the Brookyn Bridge (which goes to Watchtower first, than it ends out on Fulton Landing).

Re: NYC - Earthwing RIP Updates
The easiest way to get there is to take the A train to High street. If coming from the city get off at the back of the train, from Brooklyn get off near the front of the train. go up the escalators and out into Cadman Plaza. You can then follow Midagh street down hill and then up hill to a dead end and a side walk over to the promenade. this is also Columbia heights and the Jahovas Witness facility, "Watchtower" . . . .hence the nik name for the hill. There are many eateries and a couple groceries within a couple blocks skate on Henry street if you need some water/ whatever or a slice if you are hungry.
Any further questions, PM me.

An older man with a dog tried to push Steve and Connor off their boards. Connor was laughing, but Steve was up in his face about to knock 'em.
Killed our stoke.

Re: NYC - Earthwing RIP Updates
I wanted to say thank you to all the kids who came out to Watchtower today. It was a beautiful day and there were many pedestrians on the hill whom enjoyed our antics and skills. It was awesome to get a chance to enjoy the weather and to hang out with everyone again.
However, there was one man with something to prove as Chris earlier stated. He was in his early fifties and kinda over weight, but that is not the point, he decided to try and assault both Steve and Connor, both of whom managed to thwart his pathetic attempts to knock these men from their trusty steeds. He then got in their faces and threatened to call the police because it is illegal to skate on the sidewalk. A passing runner yelled at the guy that we were on the street and should be the ones calling the cops, (note: He was standing in the street blocking traffic at the time of this altercation.) Everyone skating remained cool considering the situation and as per their jobs the cops came to shoo us off due to an "anonymous" noise complaint. We've never had any complaint before and I'm sure we know who called it in.
No one can hate us, we were abiding the law and putting on a free show. No one can hate the cops, they were just doing their job. We can always go back another day and skate.
I just wonder if this jerk even realizes the damage he could have caused. Does anyone?
Skate safe everyone. Watch yourself and your homies, cause no one else is.
Holla.

I was bombing faster than I normally ride, (and you guys know I keep my wheels soft) so, if I actually hit him, I would be really hurting right now.
Thanks for the love guys. Skating was rad today.
