i have to say that all of you guys are pretty foolish letting speedfiend get to you. you're playing right into his hands. no matter what you all say or do he's always going to aggravate you, so just pretend he doesn't exist. i know its easier said than done, but you'll be better that way.

After a great ####### day skating, I saw an older teenager get slashed on the train. It was just a glimpse as to how the world really is.

So I am on the N train, and I noticed between Atlantic Avenue and 36th street, a young man, maybe 19-22, was sitting down as two thug looking guys around the same age were standing around. One starts talking to him while giving off this devilish smirk, and continuously gestures towards his hand in his pocket. I knew something was up when I noticed that the man who was sitting down was not talking much at all, and kept looking down at the floor, all in a very serious face. I really thought this guy might have had a gun in his pocket, or some type of weapon for that matter, so I got up and walked towards the doors as we pulled into 36th street. As the train began to come to a stop, I looked over to see the once seated man on the defensive as this one guy who was talking to him starting to assault him. A skinny, yet long and bloody slash mark was exposed on the left side of his face, and right there I literally froze, and just waited for the doors to open. There was an R train waiting across the platform, so I walked over to the next car to the left just in case they brought this fight into the train. The doors closed on me, but then opened again, so i jumped in and saw the attacker running towards the exit, and I just remember gripping my longboard so hard, knowing that it could be used as an effective weapon just in case I somehow became involved.

By that point, the doors closed, and I was really shook. I was shaking a bit because of the adrenaline, all while listening to "What is Love" on my i-pod.

I hope karma takes care of those two attackers. Pieces of ####.

So, what's the price I pay for not going to watchtower?
$100 to be exact.
A cop took me and my friend into his little cop booth and slapped us with a fine for skating on the mezzanine level of the station. We did, for about 3 seconds.
Oh well, now I can say I've been kinda detained.

Yea you can't ride your boards anywhere illegal now, b/c they're on a ticket blitz. My buddy left his bottle on the train (accidentally) and an undercover cop gave him a fine and called for backup while doing it.

Good session btw guys, and I was stoked afterward so I can do check slides (not very good ones but they're legit 50% of the time).

Yes, check slides. Its weird, I just thought of how I try to do them on soft wheels and it actually works, and I got the entire mental thing down so I can hold them out when I get in a groove. I have plenty of room to improve though.

Just for kicks, as I was leaving I said "#### the police coming straight from the underground" because I felt it was a necessary pun i had to make. Luckily, he did not hear.

I am off from school tomorrow and will most likely be at either prospect, central, or watchtower today if anyone cares to join.
